Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung calls itself a Think-and-Do-Tank. Our main aim is to do policy analysis and consultancy as well as providing national, regional and global dialogue platforms. Through products such as our FES-Genderanalysis and Gender-Country profiles, we try to deepen and qualify the political debates by integrating a gender perspective in our work. Even though there is evidence of large Gender disparities between men and women in Asia, there is a paucity of gender disaggregated data in almost all policy fields. We are looking forward to expanding and qualifying the Gender country profiles subsequently through discussions with our partners.
